Kalamazoo Covenant Church is located in the community of Comstock. Our specific neighborhood is made up of many different races and ethnicities. There is a large amount of children living in the immediate neighborhood around the church and for several years we have been reaching out to them with various activities. This past summer we even had “children” from a home for people with autism in our neighborhood join us on several occasions for our “splash parties.” Fall of 2022 we held a “trunk or treat” and had so many people attend that we ran out of candy!
Our worship style has become “blended” leaning towards contemporary. We currently have a live band and several volunteer techs. Our goal is to provide a Sunday morning experience that speaks to individuals and families in a language or style they understand and fully communicates God’s love and plan.
Our facility is an amazing resource and can be used for so many things! We recently upgraded both our sound and lighting in our sanctuary. Our fellowship is spacious and has an attached kitchen. We have room that are perfect for small groups and classes as well as a basement room that has in the past been designated as the youth room. That room has several large games as well.
So, Kalamazoo and KCC are exciting places to be! What’s even more exciting is to think of where God will take us together!
